This solid copper, sturdy bowl measures 8" across at the top. The bottom of the bowl is rounded and holds approximately 2 quarts. A brass ring on one side makes the bowl easy to hang on the wall for display.Copper bowl is lacquer coated for lasting beauty.Clean with soft cloth and towel dry. Lacquer can be removed if natural copper is desired,( instructions included.)Natural copper bowls are the preferred vessel for whipping egg whites used in meringues and zabagliones. Using a copper mixing bowl produces a creamier, yellowish foam that is more stable than the drier white foam produced by whipping egg whites in a stainless steel or ceramic bowl.Also available in 8" diam.
