Recipes from a Master I have had this book for quite some time, and to this day, it is still my favorite. I was inspired to make chocolate truffles by the movie "Chocolat" starring Juliette Binoche, and bought this book to learn. I truly feel like I now know the magic of making truffles and other chocolates! The truffles I now make are unlike any I've had anywhere. They're a constant topic of conversation among friends and people in town. Alice Medrich's chocolates are completely pure and fresh, they way a truffle should be. No add-ins to help emulisfy, no quick crap, just pure heavenly chocolate truffles done as they should be. And trust me, this is hardly done anymore - at least in this country. The chocolate cakes by Medrich are also divine. The recipes I make from this book are timeless and will never ever leave my portfolio because they are EVERYONE'S favorites!! I highly recommend this book.
