Great buy I have had this unit for approximately 14 years and it still works great. I sharpen all my cooking knives(8)about twice a month. Instruction booklet could be better but once you know how to use it, it works!

Dissapointed This item came with no directions as how to sharpen a knife. I don't know if I was sharpening or damaging my knife. What I was doing did not seem to sharpen the knife. There was a small amount of grey matter on my knife, but it was no sharper.
