    • Quick and versatile way for decorating sugarpaste and marzipan surfaces
    • Crimping must always be worked on soft paste and generally worked as soon as the cake is covered
    • When using crimpers, dip in cornflour (cornstarch)to prevent them from sticking to the paste while working
    • Pinch the crimper slightly so the edges are about 5mm(1/4") from the closed position
    • Place on the sugarpaste surface and bring your thumb and first finger together
    • Squeeze the crimper to create the desired effect

PME serrated crimper The PME serrated crimper worked really well on the buccellato --Sicilian, stuffed pastry ring made with a pasta frolla dough. It was comfortable to use. Keeping the dough chilled and dipping the crimper into corn starch also helped effectiveness.
