Hard to use Fat Daddio's usually is a great product but not this time.
The leveler is sturdy and does cut nicely, however if you have to remove a blade or two like I did so you could cut only 1 line to top a cake then you have a problem.
It was hard to get off the blades without cutting myself as they have no blade covers. Then I could not get them to screw back on once I was finished. They wont fit, they are too short to get a hold on each end and now I have a 1 blade leveler instead of a 3 blade one which was something I was looking forward to. There are no directions provided to tell you how to use it, so nothing to tell me how I am supposed to get these blades back on. The web site instructions were useless. Just tells you to adjust the blades which is also extremely hard to do. Very disappointed.

Sharp! Cut through my chilled cake layers like butter and wide enough to handle a 16" layer! I should have invested in one of these years ago ! Really makes multiple slicing so much easier and almost effortless . Marked like a ruler on both sides for precise measurements.

Professional Slicer This seems to be a very nice product. I was looking for something that was not going to bow in the center and this slicer seems to have some center stability. I have not used this item yet but am pleased with the way that it is designed.
