We have tried many different dough types.the cavatelli comes out very deformed.it comes out in lumps.they don't look anything like the picture on box.

Measure your counter thickness
My counter top is 1 1/2" thick. The maximum mount opening is 1 7/16".
Close, but will not fit.
The cavatelli it produces are quite small and it takes quite awhile to get a dough
Texture that feeds through well.

Cavatelli maker with plastic rollers
Does not work very well. Every other noodle is misshaped. I think the alignment of the rollers or the metal cutter is off. Keeps jamming. Would not buy again...

Beautiful and so easy to use!
I love cranking it by hand, and it flows so seamlessly and easily. Its my favorite way to make cavatelli. The plastic rollers are great quality and have had no problem breaking or handling too much dough. Would highly recommend!
