Description
Vollum Brotform Round Proofing Basket 8.5" outer Diameter x 3", 1 Lb.
Simply flour the Brotform and place the kneaded dough in the basket for final rise. Once it has sufficiently risen, turn out the loaf and transfer it onto a baking sheet to bake. After use, simply tap out any excess flour. Occasionally you can brush out the flour with a dry, soft brush. Made of natural cane, handwoven following a century-old tradition.
For 1 lb. loaf or 2 to 3 cups flour

Perfect size for 4 qt dutch oven
Purchased this to make sourdough boules in my 4 qt staub dutch oven. It is the perfect size. Great quality.

A New Convert
I needed a new basket for proofing, because I go through them a lot at work. I bake lots of bread so it's important to me that my tools work well and last a long time. So far so good with this proofing basket. It's even easy to clean out, which is fine by me, because that's my least favorite task. I'd buy it again.
