If you’re looking for a bite-sized treat that’s both indulgent and incredibly easy to make, these Dubai-style stuffed dates are it. Filled with a rich nut paste, dipped in silky melted chocolate, and topped with crushed pistachios and edible gold foil, they’re perfect for gifting, parties, or treating yourself.
What You’ll Need:
Large, pitted dates (like Medjool)
Homemade Dubai nut filling (pistachio praline, kanafa & butter)
Melted chocolate (milk, dark, or white – your choice)
Crushed pistachios
Instructions:
Prep the Dates: Start with large, pitted dates. Gently open each one lengthwise without cutting all the way through (just enough to make room for the filling.)
Add the Filling: Grab your Dubai filling. If it was just made, chill it in the fridge to firm up, this makes it much easier to handle. Fill each date with a generous amount of the paste.
Chill: Once filled, place the dates in the fridge or freezer for about 10–15 minutes to firm up. This helps them hold their shape when dipped.
Dip in Chocolate: Once firm, pierce each date with a dipping tool or fork and dip into melted chocolate. Let the excess drip off.
Top It Off: Place the dipped date onto parchment paper. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
Finish with Gold: For a final touch, adorn each date with a bit of edible gold foil. It adds that eye-catching “wow” factor.
Set & Serve: Let the chocolate set completely in the fridge. Once ready, serve or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
