HOW DO YOU SUBSTITUTE VANILLA EXTRACT FOR VANILLA BEAN PASTE?

Use Vanilla Bean Paste as a 1:1 substitute for vanilla extract.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VANILLA EXTRACT AND VANILLA PASTE?

Vanilla Bean Paste is slightly thicker, has specks of seeds in it, and has a stronger flavor profile.

To use a Vanilla Bean, slice through the bean lengthwise and scrape the seeds from inside the vanilla bean and use as needed.

Be sure the package is sealed completely. Store the package in a cool, dark place. Never store the beans in the refrigerator because it can create excess moisture.
