Each cavities has a raised lip.
This mold is different from every other poly mold I've ever seen. It has a 1/4" peg on two corners and a hole on the other two. Each cavity has an 1/8" lip the comes off the mold. You can't ladle chocolate on this mold, and scrape it with a spatula. The pegs get in the way, and the lips from each cavity would put an 1/8" sheet of choc on the top of the mold. I think this mold is part of some system that requires equipment I don't own and haven't seen for sale with this mold.
