Perfect tool
This is my preferred simmer ring. It transmits the perfect amount of heat for long safe very-low-heat cooking. The rawhide is well made and will last forever but I removed mine out of very conservative safety procedures--did not want it anywhere near flame.

Simmer Ring
Love the simmer ring. Keeps heat even and eliminated burning on the bottom of the pot.

Good Value for price
I love these simmer rings. This one is lighter weight than my last one and I'm not crazy about the wooden handle, but it does the job. Nice price and a handy item to have. Shipping was reasonably priced and quick. I would shop here again~ thank you!
