When this stylized bow tie first came out, the pastry chefs in test kitchens couldn’t keep their hands off it. They loved the details in hot sugar. Even when press molded, the rows of round beads are captured. When filled with liquid, the trapped air creates a “facet” or shiny surface. Poodle Ties with their rows of tiny pearls are like no other design you have seen. As this mold is rather deep, it ships pre-cut for easier flexing release.
This mold is made of food-contact-safe silicone. Wash before use. Do not heat above 300º F / 148° C.
