Not up to my expectations I purchased this to temper chocolates from home. Unfortunately, the temp dial, in Centigrade, isn't true to the recorded temperature. It took forever to heat to 120 degrees F at the maximum setting, but I couldn't hold the temp at 91 without a lot of playing around. Once there, it did hold the temp, but it would have been much easier and faster using a double boiler. I think it's going to spend most of its time sitting on a shelf.
