It saves the leaks Because of the springform the pan arrived a bit warped from possibly the shipping process. Tried to bend it a bit. Even though it does leak a little the bottom try can catch the excess butter drips as long as you don't overdo it. That helps have a cleaner baking sheet afterwards. It is easier to release the cheesecake with this. Overall I do recommend this.
