The Model 2200 forms both halves of a double-crust pie simultaneously.  In addition, the 2200 makes perfect crusts for pot pies, tarts, hors  d'oeuvres, cheesecake and quiche, in most round pans 1 inch (2.54 cm)  through 12 inches (30.48 cm) in. diameter.  No more rolling, sheeting,  or hand forming dough.   The Model 2200 is a hydraulic press that has  two pressing areas (one above the other) to form crusts for single crust  pies, double crust pies, tarts, cheesecakes, etc. It gives you the  option of producig one item in each forming area every cycle of the  machine. So, you could make one bottom shell and one cover crust each  cycle of the machine. Or you could make two cover crusts each cycle of  the machine (one in each forming area). Or for most pans less than 1.5  inches (37 mm) tall, you could form one bottom shell in each forming  area*. If you sometimes only need to make one item each cycle of the  machine, simply block uout the upper forming area with the supplied  Filler Block and you can operate your Model 2200 as a single press.    Forming dies change in a matter of minutes and make production of  different size and shapes of products fast and easy. The Model 2200's  hydraulics means that it takes very little effort for the operator to  product consistent, uniform crusts time after time.   Only one unskilled  person is needed to form 350 to 500 perfect crusts an  hour, leaving no  scrap dough to recover.  NSF and UL approved as manufactured  by Comtec Industries, the 2200 will be your favorite piece of equipment  in the kitchen, and will more than pay for itself in the amount of time  and labor it saves you.
