Description
For effective use of this handle, squeeze it before inserting in the holes of the fryer screen, then stop squeezing for the notches of the handle to catch onto and hold the mesh wires of the screen. Squeeze again and pull out to remove the handle from the screen.

7/16 inch from each tip is a notch that grabs the mesh wires of the fryer screen.
Spring is 4 inch wide and coiled into circles measuring 1-3/8 inch in diameter.
Wire is 1/8 inch thick.
Wire of spring is between 1/16 inch and 1/8 inch thick.
Overall size of each handle (counting the spring) is 5 inch x 15-3/4 inch x 1-3/8 inch high.

Not good quality
I had to modify the slots to fit my screens and the tip ended up falling off after only 5 uses.

Well built and some small adjustment needed
The steel built feels like it should last much longer then previous handles.
We had to grind out the screen slots as they were just a fraction to small.
