One-half teaspoon extract = two tablespoons juice
One teaspoon extract = one teaspoon zest
Since one tablespoon is equivalent to three teaspoons and one-half teaspoon orange extract equals two tablespoons = 6 teaspoons juice, 1 teaspoon extract equals four tablespoons = 12 teaspoons juice. That means orange extract is 12 times as strong as orange juice.
