    Grand Tassel Border Silicone Mold

    This silicone mold converts your chosen food medium into a band of 17 adjacent tassels to form a border around your cake.

    Grand Tassel Border lines seventeen individual tassel decorations side by side to create a stately cake decoration in Isomalt, fondant, gum paste or modeling chocolate. The perfect decoration for trimming pillow cakes, befitting graduation cakes and simply chic on any cake as a border or accent piece. The Grand Tassel Border mold pairs impeccably with the Grand Tassel Drop to create the essence of a very distinguished cake. It’s just one of those molds you’ve got to have in cake decorating caddy for any special celebratory occasion.

    6-1/4 inch x 3/4 inch.

    The ridge around the tassel design is sharp enough to cut into your fondant and pull the cut-out part from the rest of your fondant sheet. The ridge also forms a lip by which to pull the mold and fondant apart.

    • Produce an impression on bread dough, buttercream, royal icing, candy clay, fondant (also known as sugarpaste) and gumpaste (a.k.a. petal paste), not to mention modeling marzipan (a well-known food substance similar to almond paste)
    • Use on chocolate, fudge and butter
    • Use on gummy candy and hard candy
    • Make gold-colored tassles from sugar and seething isomalt--the silicone handles heat as high as 450F
