This particular netting (item 3/14LNS) has a 3.5" working diameter (i.e., covering a food product 3.5" in diameter). "14 square" means that 14 squares make up the circumference of this netting. An excellent use for this size of netting is for a small stuffed poultry breast. Items such as squab and quail would work well in this netting, keeping the legs and wings close to the body, ensuring even cooking throughout the bird. This netting can also be used with small sausages to keep a consistent tight hold throughout the product.
