Exactly what I wanted I make small loaves, as it's just the wife and I. This small proofing basket is the perfect size for a 300g (flour) loaf. In addition, it washes easily. It takes a bit of careful application of the flour prior to putting loaf in to get the perfect pattern, but the result is a nice, but small round loaf with that wonderful, traditional look.

My 16 year old who is studying culinary arts is in love with it and has been baking every weekend since I purchased this set. I'm gonna buy him his own set for his birthday so he can stop using mine. Easy to wash *no dishwasher* and pretty to look at. A baker's dream!
