The perfect kitchen companion. This is the perfect pan. Heavy carbon steel will last two lifetimes. If everyone that cooks understood how to season and take care of this pan all other stainless and Teflon coated pans would be retired.

Great Pan, Great Service From Kerekes 5 stars ! I've reviewed another 11" de Buyer Carbone Plus on this website and I can say the same for this pan. The reason I take the time to write this review is for the service more than the pan. I had ordered an 11" and a 9 1/2". I figured the free shipping over $49.00 would make it worthwhile, and I'd have the smaller pan for smaller jobs. So I put the order in late one night. I saw that the 9 1/2 was out of stock, and not expected to be available again for almost a month. So I did a bit of looking around on the site, found that the 10 1/4" pan gave me a bit more cooking surface, was in stock, and only $6.00 more. I called Kerekes in the morning and asked if I could pay the difference and substitute the 10 1/4" for the out of stock 9 1/2". No problem the young lady said. Two days later UPS was at my door with the two beautiful pans, and they work as good as the look !! Kudos to Kerekes for the great customer service, and the lightning fast FREE shipping.

de Buyer Carbone Plus Steel Fry Pan Excellent pan and excellent price / fast shipping from Bakedeco.com. I find myself using this pan more than my cast iron. It heats faster, heats evenly and is lighter. Cleanup is just as easy as my cast iron pans. It didn't take long for it to become nonstick. I wish I had known about carbon steel sooner.
