Make sure you know what you are buying I did a lot of research about this mold and the mold it goes with. This one is just the outside. If you want a mold for layers on the inside that is a different purchase. The two do work together perfectly but it took a long time to time the pair. You can't tell from the listing but this mold is made out of hard plastic and has two pieces. While it is together you fill it with Mousse and freeze it. You lift off the top piece in order to remove it from the mold. The recipe that comes with it makes the right quantity of some of the components and too much of others. It has very minimal instructions beyond ingredients.
