The 3 largest pans (7-1/4 inch, 8-1/4 inch and 9 inch) hav a flange (rim) that projects out more than do the rims of the smaller pans, and thus have top outer dimensions that are noticeably more than the top inner dimensions: 8-7/8 x 4-3/16 inch for number 4670, 10 x 4-7/8 inch for number 4671, and 10-3/4 x 5-3/4 inch for number 4672.
