Description
Vollum Brotform Round Proofing Basket 10" x 3.5", 2 lbs.
Simply flour the Brotform and place the kneaded dough in the basket for final rise. Once it has sufficiently risen, turn out the loaf and transfer it onto a baking sheet to bake. After use, simply tap out any excess flour. Occasionally you can brush out the flour with a dry, soft brush. Made of natural cane, handwoven following a century-old tradition.
For 2 lb. loaf or 4 to 5 cups flour

shaky initial performance
Despite seasoning basket with flour several days before using and then placing rice flour into basket again before using I still had some sticking of dough to the basket the first time I used it. Just a word of caution. The baskets are nicely made and look good and I assume once they are seasoned again with use they will perform as desired.
